This qualification is designed for those who wish to become an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2).

The Skills Training Australia Certificate IV in Nursing is designed to prepare participants for employment in a broad range of settings including:

  • Aged care facilities
  • Mental health
  • Acute care
  • Community settings

Course Structure

The course is offered on a part time basis – school attendance for two days per week, 9.00 – 5.00.

Students will also need to attend 8 weeks of unpaid clinical placement in a range of clinical settings as arranged by STA. Clinical Placement is generally in 2 week blocks.

Students will receive a full schedule of training and an outline of all assessment requirements at the beginning of the course. All attempts are made to ensure that School holidays and public holidays are free.
