Other information

This qualification provides the skills and knowledge required for working in training resource centres, day respite centres, open employment services, residential group homes and other community settings. Workers in this area: provide training and support to people with disabilities to enhance their levels of independence, self reliance and quality of life. They and may also liaise with health professionals and other service agencies.
